Review: October 2018 Glossy Box

Image
The October glossy box this month has been inspired by Halloween. They have done something very different this month and have done 2 different boxes. So you will either get a trick box or a treat box. Both boxes will contain the same products and the same amount of products but some shades in various products may vary. Everything in this box is cruelty free! All boxes will contain 4 full size products and 1 deluxe mini that will help you take on Halloween. I was really impressed with this months and the all the contents in the both come to £68 which is incredible considering the box is £13 a month. Illamasqua Antimatter Lipstick in Nebula There was 2 lipstick shades that were included and you wither got a bright pink lipstick or a purple one. I have never tried anything from illamasqua before but i will defiantly be wanting to try more products from them. This is a full size product and it retails for £20. This lipstick formula is so long lasting  and super pigmented. I recei

My Soap & Glory Favourites

Image
Soap and Glory have been around for as long as i can remember and i have been using them, well for as long as i can remember. I love soap and glory and i always seem to have something of theirs in my collection and use them on a daily. a favourite of my mine from their range has been for years the sexy mother pucker plumping lip gloss, it is the only plumping lip gloss that i have found that actually works and that i can see a difference from. Below i am going to be listing my favourites from soap and glory the ones that i always end up going back to. Body Sprays I have always loved the soap and glory body sprays and i have been using them for years. I always seem to have one i my collection and they are ones that i always go back to as i know they work and they all smell amazing. They are so affordable and the 100ml bottles are only £4. The 3 that i have in my collection are the Original Pink, Sugar Rush and Smoothie Star and i received these 3 in a gift set last Christmas,

Nip + Fab £5 Sale Haul & Review

Image
Nip + Fab have recently just had a sale on their website where all of their makeup was only £5. So of course i had to take advantage, but not to much as I'm trying to save. I didn't pick up to much, although i wanted to as i only really picked up the products that i have been wanting to try for a while now. Nip + Fab isn't a brand that i hear to much about or see a lot of people review so i didn't really know what to expect from these products. I will list all of the products down below that i picked up and how i got on with them when i was testing them out for the first time. Foundation I haven't seen to much about this foundation when ive been looking as it not a foundation that i have seen people review a lot. I wish however that i picked up a lighter shade as it is slightly to dark but i can make it work if i blend it down my neck. This foundation has really good coverage which i didn't expect at all, i thought that it was going to be more of a na

My Revolution Must Haves

Image
My favourite drugstore makeup brand always has and will always be revolution, they never fails to amaze me with their new almost weekly releases. Everything they release has ended up being my new favourite. Below i am going to be listing my all time favourite products and ones that have quickly become a new favourite. I will also be leaving pictures and links of all of the ones that i have mentioned. Conceal & Define Foundation This is definitely my new go to foundation. I love it when revolution come out with new makeup items, which is nearly every week and i love it. My bank account, not so much. This foundation is one of the best releases they have made with a total of 24 shades right of the bat. It is so full coverage and it is such a nice formula. It is a kind of semi-matte finish would i like as i don't always want something so matte even though i have combination skin. This would be a nice foundation if you have natural to combination skin as you probably wont ne

My Highlighter Palettes - My Makeup Stash

Image
In my makeup collection i have a rather large selection of highlighter palettes, some i love and some not so much. I do tend to reach more for a single highlighter but in these there is some really pretty shades. I will leave pics of all the ones that are mentioned down below. Hope you enjoy and please it would mean a lot if everyone could below my blog. :) Revolution Pro 4K Highlighter Palette This is such a lovely looking palette. The shades are super blinding, they are a bit glittery but that doesn't bother me as they are so pretty. There is a great selection of shades that all work really well for my skin tone. They have now reformulated these palettes so that they aren't as glittery and chunky, as that was one thing that everyone didn't like about them. Urban Decay After Glow Highlighter Palette I received this palette for Christmas last year now and it is so pretty. when i first looked at it i thought that it would be to dark for me as i am quite p

REVIEW: Revolution Conceal & Define Foundation

Image
Around last year now revolution released a concealer caller conceal and define and everyone went mad about it. It was so affordable at £4 and it is such a good concealer for the price. It is also a dupe for the tarte shape tape. Them releasing this concealer was definitely a big step for them as their brand got so much growth from it and have been doing amazing ever since (even thought they were before). After trying this concealer myself i have come to love this brand so much and everything they release is just such amazing quality. When everyone had tried that they were all wanting it in a foundation form (including myself). And of course they listened as they listen to everything that everyone suggests. Since this foundation was first announced i have been dying to get my hands on it. They were released about to weeks ago now and ive finally got my hands on one and for £9 a bottle it cant hurt to try it right!. I have watched a couple of YouTube videos of people reviewing it and

My Loose & Pressed Powders - My Makeup Stash

Image
Not a makeup product that everyone gets excited about, but for me i love a good powder. I have combination skin and i tend to get quite oily around my t-zone, nose and chin. So i do need to use a lot of powder and touch up during the day. I feel like i do have a lot of powder but i do go through it rather quickly, and when you hit pan it tends to get rather difficult to get to the rest of the product. E.L.F. Finishing Powder This is such a lovely pressed powder, it feels so creamy and goes on to the skin lovely. I only tend to use pressed powder when I'm wanting to touch up and don't want to carry around a loose powder (just to clumsy to do that). I highly recommend if your wanting to try a new pressed powder that it super affordable. Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Perfecting Powder Now when living in the UK it can often be difficult to find some certain makeup items as they don't always release them in the UK. I found this one at the beauty outlets store
