Revolution Shook Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

When it comes to revolution eyeshadow palettes, i feel like you just really can not go wrong with them. A few can be a bit hit and miss but more than non are just incredible. And for the price you just really cant complain. One of their more newer releases is the 'Shook' palette which was released along with a highlighter palette. Below i am going to be talking about how i got on with this palette and including swatches of all of the shades as well.
This certain palette is one of revolutions more expensive palettes retailing at £15, which for the amount of shades you get in this (36 shades that being) i totally get the price, they do have a lot more bigger palettes as well. I didn't pick up the highlighter palettes as i found by looking at it that the shades were more deeper and i would have only been able to use about 1 shades with my fair skin.
Revolution are always releasing new products, pretty much something new every week. pretty much all of them appeal to me and I'm always wanting to buy all of them. Some of their more expensive eyeshadow palettes never really appeal to me and this is the first one of them that i have bought and I'm so glad i did, if you want to find out why keep on reading.
The lay out in this palette is very different to other palettes that they have released previously but i like the idea. The transition shades have a bigger pan to the rest of the shades as they are always the shades that you use the most and finish faster. as you will see from the pictures i took the less used shades all have smaller pans, but not enough that you'll finish then really quick.
What first drew me to this palette is that there is literally a bit of everything and a huge range of colours. and even some pops of colours. i feel like when i look at this palette i don't really have anything else like this in my collection. Revolution have definitely upped the quality of their shadows and i feel like they just keep getting better and improving them.
The packaging of this palette comes in a large tin like case with a 3D logo of shook on the front which is the name of the palette. As you will definitely be shook when you look at the palette. I'm glad with this palette how the shade names are printed on to the packaging, as when they comes with the sheet with the names on i never end up keeping them or i loose them.
In this palettes there is 36 shades, 14 of them are matte, 4 of them is a matte with a bit shimmer and 18 of them are shimmer/metallic shades. I'm not a big fan of the shades that are almost matte but have a tiny bit of glitter in them as i never get a use for them and i find them pretty useless in palettes and that is the only thing that i don't like about this palette.
I never really base the quality of shadows based on their swatches as even though some of the matte shades will show up great on the eyes they may not swatch as great and some people will be put of my the swatches or vice versa. They are so insanely pigmented and i have little to no trouble blending out any of the shades. I always find that metallic shades always swatch the best, no matter where you buy them from, but this formula is just amazing. They lasted so well during the day and didn't fade at all.

So below are all of the shade names and swatches of all 36 shades in this palette:

As soon as i receive a palette i always have to have a play with it and create an eye look to see what i can come up with and to see what the quality of the shadows are like. I had to use the shades trouble and vibe as i haven't used those kind of shades in a look in ages and i love how i turned out.
